Edmond E. Gautreau of Gautreau Village passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the age of 95.
 Born on December 11, 1917 in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Edmond Gautreau and the late Annie LeBlanc. He worked for the Dept of Agriculture (Marsh Land) until his retirement.
He is survived by his sister Léona Gautreau of St-Joseph and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his six sisters: Amanda, Lucie, Marie, Jeanne, Edmée and Violette and by three brothers Willie, Abram and Fidèle (infant).
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home and interment at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Cemeteiv, Pré-d'en-Haut.
